These Terms apply to all guests, website visitors, and event clients.
By making a booking, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.

2. Reservations & Bookings
Reservations can be made via our website, phone, or in person.
To confirm a booking, guests may be required to provide valid identification and payment details.
All reservations are subject to availability and confirmation.
Special requests (e.g., late check-out, room preferences, dietary requirements) are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

3. Payment & Rates
Rates are quoted in Ghanaian Cedis (GHS) unless otherwise specified.
Accepted payment methods include cash, credit/debit cards, and bank transfers.
Payment terms:
Short stays: Full payment may be required at booking or upon check-in.
Long stays: Deposit and installment arrangements may apply (details provided during booking).
All prices include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

4. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellation policies vary depending on the type of booking:
Short-stay reservations: Free cancellation up to 24 hours before check-in. Late cancellations may result in charges equivalent to one night’s stay.
Long-stay reservations: Deposit payments are generally non-refundable.
Event bookings: Cancellation and refund terms are provided in the event agreement.
No-shows (failure to check-in without prior notice) may result in full booking charges.

5. Check-In & Check-Out
Standard check-in time: 12:00 PM
Standard check-out time: 12:00 PM
Early check-in or late check-out requests are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

6. Guest Responsibilities
Guests agree to:
Treat Dorshaven property, staff, and fellow guests with respect.
Comply with safety, security, and community guidelines.
Accept responsibility for any damages caused to property, fixtures, or equipment during their stay.
Avoid illegal or disruptive activities on the premises.

7. Events & Conferences
Event spaces must be booked in advance, with details confirmed in writing.
Guests must adhere to agreed timings, capacities, and use of facilities.
Additional services (e.g., catering, decorations, audio-visual equipment) may incur separate charges.
Event deposits are required and are generally non-refundable.

8. Liability & Disclaimer
Dorshaven takes all reasonable steps to provide a safe and secure environment. However, we are not liable for:
Loss or damage to personal belongings not caused by our negligence.
Injury, illness, or accidents that occur due to guest negligence or external factors.
Use of amenities (e.g., gym, sauna, gardens) is at guests’ own risk.
Guests are responsible for ensuring their own travel insurance coverage.

9. Security & Safety
For your safety, the property is monitored by CCTV and staffed by trained security personnel.
Guests must cooperate with all safety instructions in case of emergency.
Unauthorized visitors may not access rooms or event areas without prior approval.

10. Website Use
The Dorshaven website is provided for information and booking purposes.
Content on the site (text, images, branding) is owned by Dorshaven and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.
